Read the Story   London Wheelpower Sports Festival 2024On Thursday 14th November, 2024, the Middlesex Masonic Sports Association (MMSA) will be arranging and sponsoring an event at the Aspire Leisure Centre in Stanmore where all children aged between 12 and 18, that are wheelchair users and live or go to school in the Province of Middlesex, will be invited to a junior sports camp. With the assistance of the full team at “Wheelpower” (British Wheelchair Sport) coaches, and several paralympians, we will introduce the children to Wheelchair sports such as tennis, basketball, hockey and many others. Events will be held on the track and in the main sports hall. This will be the third time that Middlesex Freemasons, via the MMSA have supported this event. I hope you agree, this will be a wonderful and inspirational opportunity for the children. This is unique to the Lodge, being adorned with their Banner colours. The Cable Tow will enhance future Lodge Initiations for both the Candidate and Lodge Members. Indeed, there is a case for purchasing two, especially for Double ceremonies. The Lodge is planning to use the new cable tow at their meeting on 3rd April 2024.Read the Story   Seeing Out The Old YearRichmond Hill Lodge No 6698 held their regular meeting on Thursday 25th January 2024, which was to be their last meeting in the Lodge’s 75th Anniversary year. It was made special with a double Initiation ceremony for Christopher Britton and Piotr Tomaszewski and by the surprise visit from W. Bro Jim Mitchell PSGD – Provincial Deputy Grand Master, together with W. Bro Bob Rough PSGD – Assistant Provinical Grand Master and . Ian Ferguson – PAGStdB – Assistant Provinical Grand Master. Read the Story   150 Years Of Burdett ChapterBurdett Chapter No 1293 was consecrated on 29th November 1873 and celebrated its sesquicentenary in great style in December 2023 at the Twickenham District Masonic Centre. Burdett was one of the very earliest Chapters consecrated in the then new Province of Middlesex and named in honour of Col. There were 67 companions in attendance and the event was marked by an official visit by the 2nd Provincial Grand Principal, E. Comp Peter de Wolfe PAGDC accompanied by the Provincial Escort Team. The attendees included 12 of the original founders and 2 of the consecrating officers. Two Lodge members W.Bro. Tony Smith PPrGReg and W.Bro. Ian Clabon PPSGD were appointed District Flag Bearer and District Sword Bearer on Saturday 25^th November 2023 at the Uxbridge Masonic Centre in Hillingdon.  On leaving the Temple it was pleasing to see W.Bro. Geoff Hawkins PPrSGW within his Senior regalia.  Details of the Ceremonies for this order can be found on The Ceremonies of the Order of Royal and Select Masters

This picture was very kindly given to our secretary W. Bro Ian Clabon, by a Mr Karl Christmas, (nice name by the way) in Bedfordshire, whose grandfather happened to be Worshipful Master George F Tidbury of the Dalhousie Lodge in 1926 having observed that the Lodge Master for Dalhousie Lodge No. 865 in 1924 was an A. E. Kennedy and was wondering if it was the then well known illustrator and cartoonist Albert Ernest Kennedy who drew the card for George?, I’m wondering, is anyone old enough to remember or having done research that far back to know the facts?.

Maybe something to keep you occupied through the winter months.
